The Kyoritsu KEW 4202 is a convenient earth clamp tester designed for measuring earth resistance and leakage current without the need to disconnect the earth conductor or install auxiliary earth spikes. This makes it an ideal tool for maintenance personnel, electricians, utilities, telecommunications providers, and industrial facilities where earthing systems must remain operational during testing.
Using clamp on measurement technology, the KEW 4202 enables quick verification of grounding systems while minimising testing time and disruption. In addition to earth resistance measurements, the instrument can measure leakage and load current, helping identify grounding issues and unwanted current flow in electrical installations.
The integrated Bluetooth capability allows measurement data to be transferred to compatible mobile devices for recording and reporting, making field inspections more efficient and reducing manual data entry.
