The UNI-T UT253A Large Jaw Leakage Current Clamp Meter is a professional high current and leakage-current measurement instrument designed for large cables, earth conductors, industrial electrical systems, switchboards, substations and 3 phase power installations.

Its key advantage is the extra-large 80 × 80mm clamp jaw, allowing technicians to measure current on conductors that are difficult or impossible to accommodate with a conventional clamp meter.

The UT253A can measure AC leakage/current from the milliamp range up to 1200A, with resolution down to 0.01mA, making it suitable for both leakage current investigation and high-current electrical measurements.

It can also measure three-phase AC voltage up to 600V, allowing current and three-phase voltage information to be viewed on the instrument during electrical inspection and troubleshooting.

With 200-record data logging, USB/PC connectivity, automatic ranging and a large graphical LCD, the UT253A is particularly suited to industrial electricians, electrical maintenance teams, utilities and commissioning technicians.
