Applications
Compressed-Air and Vacuum Leaks
Quickly locate leaks from compressed-air lines, hoses, valves, fittings, flanges, cylinders, vacuum systems and pneumatic equipment.
Mechanical Equipment Inspection
Identify abnormal sound sources from motors, pumps, fans, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors and other rotating machinery.
Electrical Inspection
Locate suspected acoustic sources associated with corona and surface discharge around switchgear, transformers, insulators and electrical connections.
The TD2e Geek locates the acoustic source but does not diagnose or classify partial discharge. Findings should be confirmed using an appropriate electrical testing method.
HVAC Inspection
Locate air leaks in ducts and fittings and investigate abnormal noise from air-handling units, fan coils, cooling towers and ventilation equipment.
Manufacturing and Quality Control
Suitable for production-line noise investigation, component air-tightness testing, vehicle leak inspection and end-of-line quality checks.
Multiple Acoustic Imaging Modes
Single-Source Mode
Focuses on the dominant sound source for straightforward inspection work.
Multi-Source Mode
Displays multiple sound sources where several leaks or equipment noises are present.
Hologram Mode
Provides a wider acoustic view for complex environments and general sound-source investigation.
Android Smartphone Integration
Connect the TD2e Geek to a compatible Android smartphone using USB Type-C and start inspecting through the FOTRIC application.
- Android 12 or later
- USB Type-C connection
- FOTRIC Manisen or FOTRIC Genie application
- Image, video and report sharing
