The UNI-T UT620T 10A DC Resistance Tester is a professional high current resistance measurement instrument designed for transformer winding resistance, motors, generators, electrical connections, conductors and other precision DC low-resistance applications.

Using a 4 wire Kelvin measurement method and adjustable test currents up to 10A, the UT620T provides highly accurate resistance measurements across a wide 100μΩ to 1MΩ range.

Unlike conventional handheld micro ohmmeters, the UT620T is particularly suited to testing inductive equipment such as transformer windings, with automatic discharge, reverse EMF protection and audible discharge indication helping technicians perform measurements safely and efficiently.

With a large 7-inch colour display, built-in printer, internal data storage, USB connectivity and rechargeable battery, it is an excellent field instrument for utilities, transformer service companies, electrical contractors and industrial maintenance teams.

Designed for Transformer Testing

Transformer winding resistance is an important measurement during installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance and fault investigation.

The UT620T can inject up to 10A DC test current, allowing accurate measurement of very low winding and connection resistance.

Measurements can help technicians identify:

  • Differences between transformer phases
  • Tap changer contact problems

The UT620T is specified for normal internal resistance testing of transformers below 1000kVA.
